Well, in just a few hours I will be on the floor of Heinz Field for the next to last stop of U2’s 360 world tour. I have been awaiting this event for a couple of years and yesterday as I drove past Heinz Field and saw “The Claw” for the first time, my heart almost jumped out of my chest. It’s going to be a great event and I am looking forward to gathering with many friends tonight!
While music is heavy on my mind and heart today, let me make quick mention of two new music projects:
Matt Redman’s “10,000 Reasons” and Hillsong’s “God Is Able.”
I have been a big fan of Matt Redman for years and I think this is one of his strongest projects to date. Matt’s lyrical content has always been a strength and I found many of the songs on this project to have a hymn-like quality. Our community of faith will be introducing the title track, “10,000 reasons” this Sunday. You can listen to it and learn the backstory at Worship Together’s New Song Cafe.
I just downloaded Hillsong’s “God Is Able” and if you are a fan of Hillsong, you will find this project highly satisfying. Check out the title track at New Song Cafe.
What are you listening to these days?
